Soul Care for Body, Mind, Soul, and Spirit
Different seasons call for different forms of support. Eremos Place offers several pathways of pastoral and spiritual care, each grounded in compassionate presence, prayerful listening, and respect for your story and pace. You do not need to decide which pathway is right before reaching out. We can begin with a conversation to discern the best place to start together.
Spiritual Direction
Spiritual Direction offers a sacred space to deepen your relationship with God through prayerful listening, reflection, and discernment. Together, we pay attention to the movements of the Holy Spirit within your everyday life, your questions, desires, relationships, decisions, struggles, and longings. As you become more aware of God’s presence, you can begin to recognize the Spirit’s gentle guidance with greater clarity, trust, and freedom.
Spiritual Direction may be especially helpful if you long to:
Deepen your life of prayer
Discern God’s direction in a particular season
Notice God’s presence in ordinary life
Explore spiritual dryness or transition
Become more rooted in your identity as God’s beloved.
“The true spiritual director is the Holy Spirit. We simply hold space to notice, to respond, and to rest in the truth that God is already near.” Thomas Merton
Pastoral Counseling
Pastoral Counseling offers a safe, trauma-informed space to explore the emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges you are carrying. Together, we gently attend to your story, recurring patterns, wounds, beliefs, and relationships while integrating emotional insight, spiritual wisdom, prayer, and practical tools. The aim is not simply to manage what is difficult, but to move toward greater freedom, integration, and wholeness in God’s presence.
This may be helpful if you are navigating:
Anxiety, grief, burnout, or loss
Life transitions or questions of identity
Family-of-origin wounds
Relationship difficulties
Trauma and emotional triggers
Patterns of fear, striving, or performance
“The work of healing does not mean erasing pain, but bearing witness to it with love. True pastoral care walks with others until they discover that God has been with them all along.”
Henri Nouwen.
Inner Healing Prayer
Inner Healing Prayer offers a gentle, prayerful space to invite the Holy Spirit into the wounded, hidden, or guarded places of your story. Through guided prayer and compassionate attention, we make space to encounter painful memories, emotional wounds, and false beliefs in the light of God’s truth and love. Nothing is forced, and we always respect your story and pace. As healing unfolds, old patterns can begin to loosen, wounded places can be restored, and a renewed sense of freedom, peace, identity, and purpose can emerge.
Inner Healing Prayer may be especially helpful if you long to:
Experience healing from painful memories
Recognize and release false beliefs
Find freedom from shame, fear, or rejection
Understand recurring emotional or relational patterns
Receive a deeper awareness of God’s love
Become more secure in your identity as God’s beloved
“Sometimes we need to sit with our brokenness long enough for it to become the very place where God’s love takes root.”
Dan Allender
Soul Care
Soul Care offers a safe and unhurried space to attend to the deeper needs of your inner life. Through compassionate listening, prayerful reflection, and gentle spiritual practices, we make room for healing, renewal, and a deeper connection with God, ourselves, and others. Together, we pay attention to what your body, mind, soul, and spirit may be carrying, welcoming the fragmented or neglected parts of your story with compassion and gently bringing them toward greater integration and wholeness.
Soul Care may be especially helpful if you long to:
Slow down and find rest for your soul
Reconnect with yourself and with God
Become more aware of your emotional and spiritual needs
Explore patterns of hurry, striving, or exhaustion
Develop healthy and sustainable spiritual rhythms
Live more deeply from your belovedness
“Pain that is not held with compassion often becomes pain we pass on. Trauma-informed pastoral care offers space to name suffering, integrate it, and discover God’s presence in it.”
Richard Rohr
