Eremos (er’-ay-mos) is an ancient Greek term used to depict an uninhabited, solitary, or desolate wilderness. It can also be a metaphor symbolizing a season characterized by difficult circumstances, challenges, or uncertainty, leaving us feeling mentally, emotionally, or spiritually broken and isolated. During these times, it can feel as if our connection with God is distant and silent, as though we are in a wilderness.

The good news is that the wilderness can also provide an opportunity for rest, repair, and renewal. By setting time aside to engage in a process of healing, we can hear God more clearly and experience His transforming presence. Amid life's wilderness, Eremos Place invites you to slow down and embark on a journey of self-discovery, spiritual reflection, healing, and growth, thereby strengthening your relationships with God, yourself, and others.
