About Us

Ash Meaney is the Founder of Eremos Place. Over thirty years ago in Paris, while working as a fashion model, Ash had a life-changing encounter with God’s presence. That moment set him on an entirely new path, leaving the fashion industry, joining an HIV nonprofit in London serving children and families, and later training at Ridley Hall, Cambridge, to become an Anglican priest. He was ordained at St Paul’s Cathedral in London. He went on to pastor in a church in West London before moving to Southern California in 2012, where he served as a pastor in non-denominational churches for over twelve years.

A central part of Ash’s journey has been integrating both the charismatic and contemplative traditions—the charismatic marked by expectancy, openness to the Holy Spirit, and healing; the contemplative shaped by stillness, silence, deep prayer, and an abiding awareness of God’s presence. Together, these have formed a rhythm of faith in him that is prayerful and powerful, grounded and joyfully alive.

Over the years, he has walked alongside pastors, marketplace leaders, artists, and nonprofit workers, offering compassionate presence and practical guidance. He has trained church leaders, facilitated prayer retreats, and taught courses such as Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, The Marriage Course, Living Free, Alpha, and various prayer trainings to help cultivate emotional, relational, and spiritual health.

Specializing in trauma-informed soul care, pastoral counseling, inner healing, and spiritual direction, Ash’s passion is to guide people toward a deeper and more secure understanding of their identity in God. To help them encounter God’s love more deeply, grow in prayer, and find freedom from family-of-origin wounds, trauma, and anything that keeps them from living fully in God’s rest and renewal.

This remains his greatest joy and deepest honor, and it is the heartbeat behind the vision of Eremos Place. Ash is married to Sibs, and together they have three adult children. They live in California.
